How it works

  1. Scan

    Point the camera at a barcode, or photograph the label itself. Either works.

  2. Read

    SYNC’D reads every ingredient, checks the front-of-pack claims against what they actually commit to, and runs live recall and lawsuit research.

  3. Decide

    One number settles it: a 0 to 100 Sync Score, judged against the product’s own category, with the reasons laid out underneath.

The score, explained

Every product gets a Sync Score from 0 to 100 — higher is cleaner. The score is objective and category-relative, so a soda is judged against sodas, not spinach, and it is anchored to real nutrition data wherever that data exists. The methodology is public.
